Why Choose County Print?

We supply clients a broad range of company branded printed products through traditional lithographic printing, digital printing, wide format printing and direct to substrate promotional printing.

At County Print, we have invested in Lithographic and Digital technology to allow us to bring you the best of both.

Our print finishing is done in-house, ensuring that we control every aspect of your job, from start to finish. From our state of the art guillotine, high speed booklet making system to our double sided film laminator, our highly trained staff meet your needs.

County Print’s aim is simple: to offer you a vast range of print options and through print, to help you run and promote your business. Unlike most printers who sell online, we pride ourselves on our service to you. We’ve already been doing it for over 35 years so must be doing something right.

What we would like to do for you is to save you time and stress. Almost everything in business nowadays is price driven and with tight deadlines. Quite often, that comes at cost cutting through using cheap materials or with poor quality.

We are continually investing in new machinery to allow us to meet the requirements of our clients, whether locally, nationally or internationally.

Why would we be different?

Why should you receive a poor quality, sub-standard job when we can deliver to you a high quality job whilst still being competitive and cost effective?

We are here to help you, whether that is by email, telephone or person to person.

Who We Are

County Print – 3rd generation family run business

Harry Bertram was sales person for a paper supplier and then at a large printing firm. Frustrated by the rigidity of the pricing and with many clients going elsewhere, Harry decided that he could do better on his own. County Print was formed.

Established on 1st November 1981 by Harry and ran from home, it was initially run as a print farming company until 1983. Harry’s eldest son, Rob then joined the business and they decided that they could do better than just picking up and delivering boxes. So, with a £3000 investment, a premises was rented and the first press plus other pieces of essential equipment were bought. Rob’s previous job was a print finisher at a poster printing company but was trained at college to also print.

Harry’s youngest son, Tony, in 1986 decided that he would like to be part of the growing family business and so left the Army and started work straight away as a press operator but subsequently, went on to be trained at college in the art of printing and design.

Moving forward a few years from then, all three were partners of the business and were employing staff as work continued to grow. Sarah, who is still with us today, is the main press operator and has worked on countless jobs of all shapes and sizes over the years.

County Print still has customers ordering today and who have been for over 30 years!

As the years flew by, investments in machinery were continually being made to bring better quality and turnaround times to County Print’s customers.

In 2001, it was Rob’s turn to introduce his son, Richard, to the business. Richard joined after college to become a press operator and was trained by Rob, Tony and Sarah. A few years after that, Rob’s daughter Suzi joined and was trained in both printing and print finishing. Suzi is now the main print finisher and has a great eye for detail.

With 3 generations of the family having worked for and still working for the company, making up the mainstay of the workforce, it’s important to us that we give the same level of service and care to all clients and jobs, no matter how small or large their printing requirements may be
